Tony is a retired Command Sergeant Major with over 31 years of active duty in the US Army, serving in the Infantry, Aviation and finally the Air Defense Artillery Branch. A Veteran of Vietnam, Operation Red Hat, Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Tony has held every leadership position from Squad Leader to the Air Defense Artillery School Command Sergeant Major. Following retirement from the US Army, Tony worked with the Edge Inc., a military contracting and research and development company, as the lead for Patriot Unit Mission Readiness Exercises. There he was responsible for designing and executing world-class, National Training Center style, exercises and validations.
Tony founded WFSS Inc. in 2006 when the need for training Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar (C-RAM) units for deployment became apparent. He and his daughter Lisette, provided Mission Readiness Exercise support to multiple units as the C-RAM program developed. Tony, based on the needs of the units and Soldiers deploying, grew WFSS Inc. from a two employee company, to over 35 full and part-time employees.
Tony is recognized as a Legacy Member of the Air Defense Artillery, the Ancient Order of St. Barbara (Patron Saint of Air Defense), and his military awards including two Legion of Merit Medals, two Bronze Star Medals, four Air Medals, and a Purple Heart.
While Tony has retired, the WFSS Inc. team continues to provide world class training support to the ADA community under his advisement.
Mrs. Wyno-Brough is an expert in Government Contracting and Business Management. From 2006 to 2021, she served in numerous positions behind the scenes, from human resources to financial and contract management, until eventually taking formal ownership of the company in 2022 and leading all operations.
Her dedication, work ethic, and determination are behind every WFSS Inc. success, and her vision for future development is the driving force for continued growth and increased opportunities.
Always a supporter of Soldiers and Air Defense Artillery Branch, Lisette served as Family Readiness Support Assistant prior to joining Tony at WFSS Inc., and she is a member of the Order of Molly Pitcher and lifetime member of the ADA Association.
Mrs. Wyno-Brough holds a degree in Business Management.
Mr. Brough has 23 years of leadership experience as an Army Officer in the Air Defense Artillery Branch. Prior to the Army, Chris managed petroleum plants in upstate New York and Pennsylvania. Chris retired from the Army after 23 years of service in the Air Defense Artillery Branch where he served in every leadership position from Platoon Leader to Battalion Commander. His experience runs the full spectrum from Short Range Air Defense with the Avenger and Stinger Weapons Systems to the Patriot System. Chris has worked at the Operational and Strategic levels of the military and in the Joint and Coalition environment, spending much of his time in the Middle East. His culminating assignment was as an Air Defense Battalion Commander at Fort Bragg, NC.
A veteran of OIF, OEF, and OSS, Chris has deployed throughout the Middle East multiple times and worked with Coalition Partners in six countries. He has a wealth of experience across Air Defense, having served in both operational and training units for both PATRIOT and SHORAD throughout his career.
Chris holds a Bachelors in Business Management from Green Mountain College in Vermont and an International Masters of Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. His military awards include two Bronze Star Medals and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
Mr. Bucher served over thirty years both enlisted and as an officer in the United States Army and is known for his deployment proven leadership skills in tactical operations, planning, training, safety, and administrative functions for Short-Range Air Defense (SHORAD) units. Among his numerous assignments, Troy served as a SHORAD Battalion Commander from 2017-2019 and deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan where he served as the Senior Air Defense Officer responsible for C-RAM Protection, Sense and Warn, and CUAS operations and strategy for US Forces-Afghanistan. He has served at both the brigade and division level multiple times and is an expert at integrating SHORAD protection with maneuver operations in both the tactical environment and during warfighter and simulations exercises.
Troy also served in multiple leader development roles, from Professor of Military Science down to Officer Candidate School TAC Officer and as an Instructor at the NATO Defence Against Terrorism CoE.
Troy is a veteran of the Gulf War, OIF, OND, and OFS, served as an LNO to the Turkish Special Forces in Northern Iraq, and was the last ADA Linebacker Battery Commander in the US Army, serving in OIF under former NSA H.R. McMaster. He is also a published author who holds an MFA in Professional Writing.
